Calavera (Skull), also known as Temple of Doom, is the place where we can appreciate the halocline, where ocean water meets cenote water, creating a unique visual effect because light behaves differently in the two water masses which, due to their different densities, do not get mixed.

It is a mid-low difficulty dive, it requires a good buoyancy control. With a central entrance that keeps a soft illumination during all dive. The place to go if you want to fully experience the halocline.
